Bogusław Nowak requested an amicable resolution of the two criminal cases brought against him by Krzysztof Gwizdała. Both concerned defamation related to the Gliniada (Glina Show) event, which Krzysztof Gwizdała co-organized.
The dispute over the parade and the rights to organize the event has continued since 2015. After the three years (2015, 2016 and 2017) during which Bogusław Nowak did not organize Gliniada in Bolesławiec, in 2018 the istotne.pl portal and the boleslawianie.eu association decided to restore the event under the name Glina Show.
Nowak mocked Glina Show and did everything he could to discredit the event. He was helped by people involved in the 2018 elections for mayor of Bolesławiec: Cezariusz Rudyk of Platforma Obywatelska, Maciej Małkowski of Impuls Miasta and Wiesław Ogrodnik of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (even though he had previously criticized Nowak for harming the city).
In 2024, the city paid Bogusław Nowak PLN 50,000 to organize an event called Teatr Glina Da Bogusława Nowaka during the Ceramics Festival and additionally paid almost PLN 50,000 for the artists hired for the event.
