The first stage of the reconstruction of the road from Kozłów through Stara Oleszna and Trzebień to Golnice is beginning. – The scope of the project primarily includes reconstruction of the main carriageway, intersections and access roads, construction of pavements and pedestrian-and-cycle paths, as well as bus bays – informs Joanna Jarocka, spokesperson for the Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei. – The electrical and telecommunications networks will be replaced. Roadside trees will be removed and new greenery will be planted.
The investment will be carried out by a company from Jelenia Góra. The renovation will cost approximately PLN 20 million. It is scheduled for completion in 2014.
– During the reconstruction, traffic on provincial road No. 297 will be controlled by temporary alternating traffic signals. The road will not be closed to traffic – Jarocka adds.
