This honorary title will be awarded to those who stand out particularly in volunteer work in various areas of life – culture, sport, social assistance, health promotion, ecology, tourism, activities for people with disabilities, etc.
The competition is held in six categories:
- adult volunteer,
- youth volunteer,
- non-governmental organization,
- donor,
- occasional volunteering,
- volunteer with a great heart (the candidate for the title “Volunteer with a Great Heart” is nominated by the Bolesławiec County Starost).
We therefore invite residents of the County, schools, non-governmental organizations, parishes and institutions cooperating with volunteers to submit nominations of people, companies or organizations whom they would like to thank for their selflessness, commitment, dedication and kindness.
Applications may be submitted until November 15 this year. (the date of receipt by the Starost Office is decisive).
When reviewing them, the competition jury will take into account, among other things, elements such as:
a) commitment to volunteer work,
b) innovation of activities,
c) ability to cooperate,
d) frequency and regularity of activities,
e) effectiveness and efficiency of the work,
f) ability to involve and encourage other people to do volunteer work.
