This time, 81 new officers from across the region, including 21 women, joined the Lower Silesian garrison. Due to the prevailing flood situation, they took their oath at the local units to which they will be assigned after completing their basic training.
The officers mentioned above will join the municipal police headquarters in Jelenia Góra, Wałbrzych, Legnica and Wrocław, as well as the county police headquarters in: Bolesławiec, Dzierżoniów, Głogów, Góra, Jawor, Kamienna Góra, Kłodzko, Lubań, Lubin, Lwówek Śląski, Milicz, Oława, Polkowice, Strzelin, Świdnica, Trzebnica, Wołów, Ząbkowice Śląskie and Złotoryja.
They now face intensive training; however, even before the course begins, some of them have already been involved in aid efforts for people affected by the flood.
