The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 11, after 9:00 p.m. The Chrysler driver lost control of the vehicle and ended up in a ditch. Two people were injured in the accident: the Chrysler driver and a passenger. Both men were taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
Shortly after the accident, a young driver stopped at the scene. The man called an ambulance, then got out of his car, switched off the engine and left the hazard lights on. The car battery went flat. The driver signaled the problem to the police and other drivers. Unfortunately, nobody wanted to help him start the car. We were the only people who took an interest in the helpful driver's plight. Thanks to the courtesy of an employee of the Lotos station and borrowed jumper cables, we helped start the engine.
