On Saturday, January 8, a cross-country race, “A Stroll with the Orchestra,” organized by the WOŚP headquarters in Warta Bolesławiecka, was held in Iwiny. Thirty-three people took part in the competition, including runners from Legnica, Głogów, Chocianów, Lubin and... Toruń. Detailed results of the competition can be found HERE.
Meanwhile, the Sunday finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity was held in the hall of the Village Cultural Centre in Raciborowice. The following bands performed on stage: Method Massiv, Podgrodzianki and singANDdance. There was also a traditional “light to the sky.” The event organizers raised over PLN 14,600 and EUR 16.14. Volunteer Ania Skibicka collected over PLN 1,200 on her own.
