The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways is responsible for the construction site and the crane. Officials assure residents that the structure will not topple. However, the bridge has been closed to traffic for safety reasons. Only emergency service vehicles are allowed to cross.
No one can dismantle the crane at the moment because there is no access to it (as can be seen in the photo). There is water all around. The electricity has also been disconnected at the construction site.
All we can do is wait for the water to recede. At that point, traffic will presumably be restored on the bridge on Zgorzelecka Street.
