Recently, emergency and public-order services have repeatedly been forced to intervene on the streets of our city, especially on Spacerowa Street, where they encounter particularly serious difficulties.
The problem is the gathering of numerous onlookers, both on foot and in cars, who block passageways and significantly slow the services’ operations.
Out of concern for the safety of all residents and the efficient work of the fire service, police and medical services, we appeal for:
- Not stopping at emergency-response locations – Stopping vehicles in the streets to observe the services’ operations not only obstructs them, but also increases the risk of accidents.
- Limiting the gathering of pedestrians around incident locations – Every additional person makes it harder for the services to concentrate and access those affected.
- Exercising particular caution on Spacerowa Street – This is a particularly vulnerable area. Let us remember that every minute can matter when saving property or lives.
Please let us work together to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the services that risk their lives every day for our benefit. Let us consider our conduct so that we do not become an obstacle in situations when every second counts.
You can follow the situation by the bridge and under the viaduct in Bolesławiec on our webcams. One shows the viaduct, while the other shows the bridge on Nila Street.
