Starosta of Bolesławiec Tomasz Gabrysiak introduced a flood alert in Bolesławiec County on 14 September 2024 at 2:00 p.m., excluding the Municipality and Town of Nowogrodziec, where a flood emergency has been in effect since 7:20 a.m.
The alert was introduced due to difficult hydrological and meteorological conditions and planned increased water releases from the Pilchowice Reservoir. Flooding is possible. Approaching the river is dangerous.
