– In recent weeks, officers of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters have carried out a series of successful operations. A few days ago, officers recovered stolen motorcycles worth approximately half a million zlotys, but that is not the end of the good news… – reports junior aspirant Bartłomiej Sobczyszyn of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.

He adds: – Joint operations by officers from the Criminal Department, the Department for Combating Economic Crime and the Investigative Department of the Bolesławiec unit led to the recovery of a screed machine—a mixokret—that had been stolen. The equipment, worth PLN 40,000, was stolen in our district at the beginning of August this year. The person detained in connection with the case has already been charged with handling stolen goods.
That was not all. The spokesperson said: – As a result of searching the property and outbuildings where the equipment originating from the crime was located, officers also discovered body parts from a BMW 520D that had been stolen in Legnica County. The value of the car was estimated at PLN 110,000.
In addition, officers carrying out activities on the property discovered cannabis plants. They were secured, and the suspect in their illegal cultivation was detained.

We remind you that handling stolen goods is a crime punishable by up to five years’ imprisonment, while anyone who cultivates cannabis contrary to the provisions of the law, with the exception of fibrous hemp, is liable to up to three years’ imprisonment.
