On 16–17 August 2024, with the participation of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec and the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec, the Lower Silesian Provincial State Fire Service Firefighters’ Beach Volleyball Championship was held at Wiadukt Plaza.
Fourteen pairs representing 10 municipal and district State Fire Service commands from Lower Silesia competed for the Lower Silesian provincial championship title.
District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec:
At 10 a.m., the competition was opened by the Deputy Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Wrocław, Senior Brigadier Piotr Grzyb, who wished all participants a successful competition.
He added:
The competition was conducted using a Brazilian system for 16 teams. The title of Provincial Champion was successfully defended by the team representing the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wrocław, who defeated the pair from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Legnica 2–0.

The competition summary and presentation of the ceramic plates, certificates and prizes were conducted by the District Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, Senior Brigadier Andrzej Śliwowski, assisted by the event manager, Deputy District Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, Senior Brigadier Piotr Pilarczyk.
