Through Bolesławiec’s market square, the heart of the city, and along the streets of Bolesławiec, joyful and proud LGBT+ people marched. All this was to show that Bolesławiec is a generous, open and European city.

Last year, a group of aggressive football hooligans blocked LGBT+ people, their fellow citizens, from crossing the Market Square. This year, as part of the ceramic parade, rainbow flags arrived in the heart of the city of ceramics!
When asked whether he would support the II Equality March this year, Mayor Piotr Roman replied only that he would not obstruct us in any way. We thank the city’s mayor for this openness toward LGBT+ people, who are also residents of Bolesławiec.
