– I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and my wife is also one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. It probably has nothing to do with the case. If someone wanted more information, there is an official website where they can find out more if they are curious – says Tomasz Parzyszek, the missing woman’s husband.
In response to our statement that we had seen a comment under our report saying that sometimes, when a person wants to leave or run away, they choose precisely this method, the man replied that everything about Jehovah’s Witnesses is officially known and that anyone who needs to read more is welcome to visit the website.
– At first, we tried searching ourselves. I also informed the police that we wanted to take such action. It was Sunday; we wanted to do it as quickly as possible, and we did. We found nothing there. At present, we are putting up posters, calling transport companies, and trying to identify anyone who might have had a recording while driving there or passing that way. Stations, hotels and so on. We are also asking around there. But the police are doing that too, so some of it may overlap. I reported her missing the next morning. We did not know what was happening. We thought that my wife would simply get there somehow. Besides, my wife was going to her parents-in-law, so I also thought that she would soon be at their home – adds Tomasz Parzyszek.
– I know that the police checked the phone, and nothing from those contacts indicated anything that could point to any particular explanation. Until we know whether my wife got out of that car and went somewhere, or whether someone took her, every theory here may be right or wrong. Trips to Wrocław were very stressful for her. Large cities stressed her more, and she did it without problems, of course, but only in situations when she had to go, for example, to pick up her parents-in-law; she would not go alone. For now, we very much need footage from a dashcam showing the moment when she got out of that car, or any information that someone saw something. At present, there are people who saw the car on the motorway, but that is all. We know that, but we do not know what happened to Iza – says the missing woman’s husband.
What did Izabela look like and when did she go missing?
Izabela Parzyszek is 35 years old. She lives in Kruszyn, a village near Bolesławiec. The missing woman was last seen on Friday, 9 August 2024, in Złotoryja County.
The woman is 173 cm tall and has a slim build, blonde shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. On the day she went missing, she was wearing a dark dress with light-coloured patterns.
Anyone with information about the missing woman is asked to contact the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters at 47 87 33 200.
How did she go missing?
On Friday, 9 August, the woman was travelling by car from Bolesławiec to Wrocław. At approximately 7:30 p.m., her car broke down on the route near the village of Kwiatów (kilometre 78 of the A4 motorway). The last telephone contact with the missing woman took place that same day at approximately 7:40 p.m.; the woman called her father. After arriving at the scene, Izabela’s family found the car. Unfortunately, the woman has not returned home since then, nor has she contacted her family or friends again. Her current whereabouts and what happened to her remain unknown.
The missing woman’s loved ones are very worried about her and miss her. They also ask everyone to help find the woman as soon as possible.
Mrs Izabela’s phone was left in the car.
