Is anything known about the little rats at the pond?
Let us recall. At the end of July, this video appeared on The Bad Bunzlauer:
As one of the forum users commented:
Bolesławiec, the second Wrocław.
Let us recall. In March this year, a Reader wrote to us on social media:
The boat is gone, but rats as big as horses are running around on a beautiful afternoon.
And sent us this recording:
What is more, we already reported on a similar situation in October 2022. Readers informed us at the time:
(...) we went to the pond with our daughter to feed the ducks. However, it was not only the ducks that were hungry; a rat also emerged from behind the bushes to feed.
The issue of rats in Bolesławiec keeps coming back. In September 2021, a Reader wrote to us:
The issue of rats on Podgórna Street. Today I noticed considerable activity from these rodents. They are running along the street and on the pavements beneath the apartment blocks.
And added:
Does the city carry out any preventive measures to limit their population? As is widely known, poison in basements works only once; a rat learns quickly. If one dies, the others will not touch it.
As we established at the time, municipal services regularly commission deratization. However, it seems that getting rid of these rodents is not so easy.
What do you think? Have you seen rats in our city recently? If so, where is the problem worst? We invite you to join the discussion.
