Diocesan bishops periodically visit the parishes under their jurisdiction. These visits are intended to maintain personal contact with the clergy and the faithful.
During episcopal visits, among other things, the condition of sacred buildings and parish registers is examined. In addition, bishops meet with lay groups active at churches. The same happened during Bishop Regmunt’s visit to Bolesławiec.
Father Andrzej Jarosiewicz expressed hope that the bishop’s visit would help identify areas for new evangelization. The three-day visit concluded with a Mass attended by the city and county authorities.
