Bolesławiec County is a place of intensive road investments aimed at improving the quality of road infrastructure in the region. As part of the “Modernization of roads in former state-farm areas” project, key investments with a total value of PLN 4,000,000 are being carried out.

One of the important elements of the project is the modernization of road sections in Ławszowa and Jeleniogórska Street in Bolesławiec. The construction work is intended not only to improve the road surface, but also to introduce solutions that increase road-user safety. The new surface, appropriate signage and additional infrastructure, such as pavements and modern lighting, will significantly improve the comfort of residents’ daily journeys throughout our county.

On the road section in Ławszowa, work involving road widening, milling of the old surface and construction of a new bituminous carriageway surface has been completed. Remaining work includes repairs to the bridge, shoulders and finishing work.

Preparatory work and work related to street lighting is under way on Jeleniogórska Street in Bolesławiec; the bituminous surface has been milled.

The remaining work involves constructing pavements alongside the new pedestrian crossings and laying a new bituminous surface and new shoulders.

The completion of this work will certainly bring positive changes to the travel comfort and safety of road users and contribute to the further development of the entire region.
