Officers from the Traffic Department of the Bolesławiec police unit stopped a motorcyclist for a roadside check while patrolling the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality.
The 20-year-old resident of Lwówek County was riding the motorcycle despite not having the required license. In addition, the motorcycle he was riding did not have a valid technical inspection, so the officers confiscated its registration certificate.
A motion to punish the offender for the misdemeanor will be submitted to the court. Driving a motor vehicle without the required authorization is punishable by arrest, restriction of liberty, or a fine of no less than 1,500 zlotys. A driving ban is also imposed.
