As reported by the 11th Lubuska Armoured Cavalry Division:

Creating increasingly better conditions for the deployment and operation of US forces in Poland significantly contributes to increasing the level of deterrence and the defensive potential of our country, as well as that of NATO’s entire eastern flank.

In accordance with the enhanced defence cooperation agreement between our countries, signed on 15 August 2020, one of the investments was completed today. It is a camp established in Świętoszów—a temporary military base intended primarily to create the capability to rapidly receive allied reinforcement forces, not only from the USA but also, should the need arise, from other allied countries.

The military base will provide temporary accommodation for allied forces during field training and support the reception of rotating deployments and the onward movement of ground forces. The base will also serve for the rapid collection and receipt of deliveries, as well as the configuration of combat equipment before its movement to the tactical assembly area.
