Following our publication, the hole on Orzeszkowa Street was marked and temporarily secured. First, the police arrived at the scene and secured the dangerous area until road workers arrived.
Representatives of MZGK and PWiK were also at the scene. It turned out that water had washed away the road surface around the hole. The hole was marked and secured with a barrier. After the weekend, the services will begin repairing the road surface at this location.
Earlier, a reader reported a dangerous hole in the road on Orzeszkowa Street in Bolesławiec:

It appears that water has washed away the asphalt at this location. The road may be collapsing here, posing a danger to drivers.
We notified the Bolesławiec Municipal Police about the matter.
