Uniformed personnel from the 23rd Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec and the 16th Lower Silesian Territorial Defence Brigade will train under the supervision of instructors from the Independent Police Prevention Unit in Legnica throughout the summer holiday period.

In July and August 2024, soldiers from the 23rd Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec and the 16th Lower Silesian Territorial Defence Brigade will train under the supervision of instructors from the Independent Police Prevention Unit in Legnica. This is part of their preparation to carry out service duties on the border with the Republic of Belarus.

The training mainly covers the use of smoothbore weapons, as well as tactics and techniques for dealing with an aggressive crowd. It also includes the principles of forming a police skirmish line and using direct coercive measures. All the skills acquired during the training will be useful to uniformed personnel serving on the border. The knowledge they gain is necessary for effective action and cooperation with police units.

Some of the meetings have already taken place. Further training sessions are scheduled for the uniformed personnel throughout the summer holiday period.
