The city president, mayor and heads of the municipalities in Bolesławiec County have signed a joint statement. It concerns the proposal by the Bolesławiec County Executive regarding the participation of municipalities in the county in a company intended to take over the county hospital.
The signatories of the statement express "serious doubts as to whether the involvement of public funds in the company to be established is lawful".
As is known, the county authorities want to privatize the hospital. Initially, they intended to do so with Finryan, but it later turned out that Finryan would not join the company.
The county authorities plan to conclude a company agreement with nearby municipalities and Bolesławiec companies, one of which is associated with the chairperson of the County Council.
