On Tuesday, June 25, inspectors from the Jelenia Góra branch of the Lower Silesian Road Transport Inspection conducted an inspection of waste transport carried out by a Ukrainian carrier.
Inspection: – The inspection found that the cargo being transported was leaking from the tanker used for the transport. In addition, the trailer frame had been repaired provisionally by welding in additional elements. The inspectors also had reservations about the way the spare wheel was secured to the trailer using a transport strap. In view of these circumstances, the driver was prohibited from using the vehicle in road traffic.
The outcome? Inspectors:
The vehicle was directed to a guarded parking area until the irregularities were rectified, the vehicle registration certificate was retained, the driver was fined, and administrative proceedings were initiated against the company concerning the imposition of a financial penalty.
