The incident took place on 23 June.
After 10 p.m., a Reader wrote to us, informing us that a fire service operation was underway on Podgórna Street, opposite the Old Dairy.
As we managed to establish, at 8:40 p.m. firefighters had already been dispatched to deal with a cracked acacia tree that was leaning over the pavement and posed a danger.
Three fire service units took part in the operation: firefighters from Bolesławiec, Nowogrodziec and Brzeźnik. The danger was removed and, fortunately, no one was injured.
The firefighters' operation lasted nearly three hours. (It ended at 11:25 p.m.).
