Information about the new solutions appeared on the Facebook profile of the Dolnośląski Związek Piłki Nożnej.
According to DZPN, the changes were preceded by talks with representatives of more than 600 clubs competing in Lower Silesia.
The changes are to apply from the 2024/2025 season:
- B-Class teams will not be required to have a coach,
- additional junior competitions will be introduced – seven-a-side,
- players from the III and IV Leagues will be authorized to referee in the A and B classes,
- the season will begin with the Lower Silesian Super Cup match,
- nine substitutions will be permitted during a match,
- registration of non-EU foreigners in the A and B classes will be easier,
- for junior and youth competitions, the required coaching license will be UEFA-C.
What do you think of these changes? Will this solve problems with referee appointments in the lower leagues, and will it generally make it easier for lower-league clubs to participate in competitions?
