Students of Szkoła Podstawowa w Iwinach organized a collection of sweets and toys for the youngest children at the Bolesławiec Children’s Home of the Sisters of Saint Elizabeth. The initiators of the campaign were sixth-grade students Paulina Kurdyś, Milena Stępień, Agata Bachusz, Olga Symczyszyn and Agnieszka Piwowarska (Agnieszka also involved her mother in collecting sweets at a shop). Thanks to the students, parents and residents of Iwiny, a large quantity of sweets and toys was collected.
On Tuesday, 7 December, a group of sixth-grade students, together with their form teacher Elżbieta Wcisło, headteacher Elżbieta Koryluk-Sowa and Arkadiusz Orszulak, presented the gifts to the children and spent time playing with them.
