Two cars collided on the A4 motorway, in the lane heading toward Zgorzelec.
One person was resuscitated at the scene. Unfortunately, they could not be saved.
Two other people were taken to hospitals.
Emergency services are operating at the scene.

Fatal accident on the A4 toward Zgorzelec (after the Godzieszów exit).
The motorway is closed in both directions!

Traffic on the A4 motorway has been restored.
PSP Bolesławiec on the incident:
On June 2, 2024, at approximately 12:53 p.m., the Bolesławiec County Headquarters received a report of a collision involving two passenger cars at kilometer 21 of the A4 toward Zgorzelec. Upon arriving at the scene, crews from fire protection units found damaged vehicles. The road service was first on the scene and assisted the travelers. Four people were traveling in total; two were taken to hospital.
The motorway toward Zgorzelec is blocked.The following took part in the incident: 2x JRG Bolesławiec, the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Zgorzelec, OSP Czerwona Woda, 2x OSP KSRG Czerna, the Volunteer Fire Service in Wykroty, the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, 2 Emergency Medical Teams in Bolesławiec, and the road service.
