The championships featured three race series. Our athletes competed in the third—which, as it turned out, was the strongest series. The results of this race determined the final distribution of medals.
After a magnificent contest, Vanessa Michaluk, running the final leg, crossed the finish line in third place, and our team consequently won the bronze medal at the Polish Championships! Our relay team recorded a time of 3:36.26; ahead of us, the athletes of Olimpijczyk Wrocław crossed the finish line in 3:35.26, while the Wawel Kraków team won with a time of 3:33.81.
It is worth noting that Stanisław Strzelecki competed once more that day, this time in the individual 400m race. Despite this being his second race over that distance on the same day, he achieved an impressive result at the finish—47.24 seconds. This is not only the best result in Poland in the U18 category, but also a new club record.
