– Last Thursday, Polkowice police officers carried out operations in Brunów, in the Chocianów municipality, from the early morning hours. The call concerned a report of the death of a 44-year-old man – reports Assistant Commissioner Przemysław Rybikowski, press officer of the Polkowice District Police Headquarters. – Unfortunately, patrol officers confirmed the report, finding a body with a gunshot wound to the head and then arresting a 19-year-old connected with the incident.
The officers secured the scene, collected traces and questioned witnesses. The preliminary procedures, inspection and searches lasted nearly seventeen hours and continued the following day. The District Prosecutor’s Office in Lubin supervised the police operations.

The evidence collected by police in the case made it possible to bring a murder charge.
And adds: – The charge was brought against the 19-year-old detained at the scene.
The District Court in Lubin ordered the teenage resident of the Chocianów municipality to be held in pre-trial detention for three months. The young man could face life imprisonment.
