On Thursday, December 2, a ceremony commemorating Ignacy Domeyko, the school’s patron, was held at the Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych in Bolesławiec. The ceremony began with a broadcast prepared by class II t and teacher Mariola Szczęch.
An assembly honoring the great scientist then took place in the school’s gymnasium. Maciej Pronkiewicz, deputy head of ZSE, was the first to speak.
One of the most important parts of the patron’s celebration was a competition organized by teachers Renata Rosa, Krystyna Andres-Wędzina and Anna Lisiak. The competition participants were tasked, among other things, with preparing a wall display presenting Domeyko’s life and achievements, performing a scene from his life, and writing a humorous poem about the school. Class I e, supervised by Ewa Suchecka, won the competition.
