On Thursday, 2 December, the inaugural session of the County Council's fourth term was held, during which the following councillors took their oaths:

  10. Dariusz Kwaśniewski (PO)
  11. Zbigniew Mitera (PSL)
  12. Jarosław Molenda (SLD)
  13. Ewa Potyszka (PO)
  14. Cezary Przybylski (PO)
  15. Janusz Puzio (Forum)
  16. Jan Russ (PiS)
  17. Karol Stasik (PO)

Karol Stasik was also elected chairperson of the Council (11 councillors voted in favour, 2 against, and 6 abstained). Jarosław Molenda will serve as the first deputy chairperson (11 votes in favour, 1 against, and 8 abstentions). Michał Bojanowski will be the second deputy chairperson (11 votes in favour, 2 against, and 7 abstentions).

A new county governor was also elected that day. Cezary Przybylski took the position (13 votes in favour, 1 against, and 6 abstentions). “I would like to thank you very sincerely for your trust for the second time,” Przybylski said. “Thank you to those who voted for me. Through my work, I will try to convince those who voted against me and those who abstained that the County Council chose the right person for this position.

Stanisław Chwojnicki was once again appointed deputy county governor (13 votes in favour, 6 against, and 1 abstention), while Dariusz Kwaśniewski became a full-time member of the Bolesławiec County Board. Jan Kozak and Zbigniew Mitera also joined the Board.
