The long-serving president of the Bolesławiec Volleyball Association and, in the previous term, a councillor representing Wolny Bolesławiec on the Bolesławiec County Council, has become the deputy of the new Head of Bolesławiec Municipality. (On Friday, J. Łuczkowski resigned as president of BTS to avoid a conflict of interest.)
The municipality’s new deputy head will be responsible, among other things, for investment, infrastructure, agriculture, obtaining external funding and municipal services. – I want to help the new head of the municipality carry out his plans; I want the office to be closer to residents – says the new deputy head of the local government.
Jacek Łuczkowski holds a master’s degree in law and is a retired police officer with 11 years of experience in managerial positions. He is a graduate of the Police Academy in Szczytno and the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Wrocław. He also completed postgraduate management studies at the Wrocław University of Economics and at the Wrocław School of Business (MBA). He is Vice-President of the Lower Silesian Volleyball Association. As a county councillor, he submitted 66 interpellations.
The new deputy head of the municipality was awarded the bronze and gold “Distinguished Policeman” badges by the Minister of the Interior and Administration, and by the Chief of Police for apprehending an armed perpetrator who had attempted murder. He was also awarded the gold “For Merits to Firefighting” medal. He is also a recipient of an award from Mayor Piotr Roman for promoting Bolesławiec.
He emphasizes that he is a community activist and does not belong to any political party.
