On 2 May, we reported on a search operation on the Kwisa River in Nowogrodziec. In the evening, a kayak and a backpack were found near the river. The kayak was in the water. It was also overturned. There was a suspicion that someone might have fallen from it into the water.
At around 7:00 p.m., a search operation began, involving a total of 11 fire service units: PSP (Bolesławiec, Legnica) and OSP (Nowogrodziec, Nowogrodziec II, Trzebień, Warta Bolesławiecka, Ocice), as well as several patrols of the Bolesławiec police.
Fortunately, before 10:00 p.m., the owner of the abandoned belongings was found safe and sound. Earlier, he had left the damaged kayak and backpack by the river...
