The City Office has already published its third response to Maciej Małkowski’s interpellation from January this year. The councillor asked how much money had been allocated to promotion and which units had allocated it. He requested detailed data on individual orders.

The third version of the response again contains no details, but the amounts have changed. It turns out that among the city’s units, apart from the City Office itself, the most on promotion was spent by the president Krzysztof Basiak of the Municipal Communal Services Company.

In the statement published on April 19, it was stated that he had spent PLN 6,300. A week later, following our publication, it was stated that he had spent more than PLN 51,000. The amount reported for the District Heating Plant also changed. Previously, it was stated that the plant had spent more than PLN 40,000 on promotion; according to the latest response, it was just under PLN 8,400.

The City Office explains this as a calculation error. Below is the full statement of expenditures. Is it accurate? It is difficult to say, because another error may have crept in again (or may have been made deliberately).

Let us recall that on April 19 we submitted a request for public information on this matter. The deadline for the response is May 3.
