The incident occurred on Thursday, April 18, at Generała Tadeusza Rozwadowskiego Street in Bolesławiec. Before 8:00 p.m., Bolesławiec firefighters were dispatched to assist a dog that had fallen into an approximately 3-meter-deep sewer manhole.
The uniformed officers rescued the animal, which was handed over to its owner. Fortunately, the four-legged animal was not seriously injured.
The firefighters also notified the road manager, who is to secure the manhole in question.
