On Friday (12 April), second-year students of the Construction School Complex in Bolesławiec – Oliwia Dolecka and Wiktoria Szczerba – took part in the regional qualifiers of the Agricultural Knowledge and Skills Olympiad at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław.

Oliwia Dolecka took third place in the landscape architecture category, which qualified her for the national stage of the Olympiad and thereby granted her admission to the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in the same field.

The Agricultural Knowledge and Skills Olympiad is one of the oldest and most prestigious competitions in knowledge and practical skills in Poland. It is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The student prepared for the Olympiad under the guidance of Ms Anna Dudek – a teacher of vocational subjects in landscape architecture.
