A new ambulance arrived at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec on Friday, April 5.
The purchase was financed from the Medical Fund of the Ministry of Health as part of an investment programme supporting emergency medical infrastructure through the purchase of ambulances for Emergency Medical Teams, along with additional equipment. The ambulance cost nearly PLN 600,000.
A type C ambulance is known as a mobile intensive care unit. It is equipped with modern medical equipment, including a ventilator, defibrillator and video laryngoscope, as well as an interior air purifier and a device for transporting a seated patient.
The new ambulance will increase the mobility of Emergency Medical Teams. Thanks to this investment, the hospital will be able to meet the healthcare needs of the region’s residents even more effectively.
