In the material Bolesławiec County: a time of intensive road investments. Which of them have already been completed? we reported which county investments had been completed. Now we will write about those already planned by the local government.

The county will renovate the roads under its management. This concerns the project “Modernisation of roads in former state agricultural farm areas in Bolesławiec County”; it will include the reconstruction of 5 road sections: Jeleniogórska Street in Bolesławiec, the Kraszowice–Ocice road, the Wartowice–Łaziska road, and roads in Parowa and Ławszowa.

The value of the project is PLN 4,000,000, while the funds obtained by Bolesławiec County from the Polish Deal amount to more than PLN 3.9 million (98% of the investment value). Bolesławiec County Governor Tomasz Gabrysiak:

We intend to complete this project later this year.

The county government reports that another project co-financed by the Polish Deal will also be carried out this year – “Modernisation and reconstruction of selected sections of county roads in Bolesławiec County”.

This project includes the reconstruction of more than 10 road sections in the county: in Gościszów, the Parzyce–Kierżno road, the Tomaszów Bolesławiecki–Szczytnica road, the Osła–Gromadka road, the Nowa Wieś–Lipiany road, the Bolesławice–Kraśnik Dolny road, Lubańska Street in Osiecznica, Kolonia Street in Milików, and county roads in Bolesławiec: a section of Garncarska Street, the intersection of Jeleniogórska and Podgórna Streets, and a section of Zygmunta Augusta Street.

An investment involving the reconstruction of county road no. 2272D in Wierzbowa will also continue. It concerns a 310-metre-long section.

What will be done?

  • The road will be reconstructed to meet the structural strength parameters corresponding to a usable load capacity of 11.5 tonnes per single axle.
  • The granite-sett surface will be reconstructed as a bituminous surface.
  • The pavement along the reconstructed road will also be renovated.

Project value: PLN 1,051,167.00. For this purpose, Bolesławiec County obtained nearly PLN 736,000 from the Government Road Development Fund. – Roads are one of our priorities – concludes County Governor Tomasz Gabrysiak.
