On Tuesday, 16 November, the official handover of the new vehicles took place at the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec. Two of them (Scania and Volvo) went to the Bolesławiec firefighters as part of the programmes “Safe South – expansion of the road rescue system on the transport routes of southern Poland” and “Safe Lower Silesia – expansion of rescue centres in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship – purchase of specialist technical equipment”. The third vehicle (a Mitsubishi) was purchased from the KP PSP’s own funds with the support of Bolesławiec County and sponsors. The new vehicles were blessed by Rev. Andrzej Jarosiewicz.
