During the March meeting of the Bolesławiec County Council, Jan Russ of Wolny Bolesławiec announced that he would no longer run for councillor:
I am not on the election lists; this year I decided that I would not run for the council—any council.
Jan Russ thanked the councillors, the employees of the Bolesławiec County Office, and everyone who had voted for him.
The chairman, Wojciech Kasprzyk, returned to the matter later in the proceedings, stressing that Jolanta Deberna and Colonel Stanisław Chwojnicki would certainly also not be seen in the new Bolesławiec County Council.
Stanisław Chwojnicki is running for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Assembly.
