Last weekend, Bolesławiec County, together with the Bolesławiec County Council of Rural Housewives’ Associations and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, organized the “Traditional Easter Tables” event for the twentieth time. Twenty-four Rural Housewives’ Associations from Bolesławiec County took part, presenting their skills in preparing Easter dishes and decorations.
One of the main events was a competition for the most beautiful Easter palm. First place went to the Rural Housewives’ Association from Nowa; second place was awarded ex aequo to KGW Bolesławice and KGW Żeliszów, while third place was shared by KGW Kraśnik Górny and Czerna.
During the event, participants competed in presenting Easter dishes. The Rural Housewives’ Association from Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka won first place. KGW Żeliszów came second, KGW Jurków took third place, and the Rural Housewives’ Association from Iwiny came fourth.
The prizes in both competitions were presented by Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak, who has supported the Rural Housewives’ Associations from our county for years, promoting the region’s traditions and culture.
Tables full of delicious food and joy undoubtedly left an unforgettable impression on all participants and guests at this special gathering.
