On 16 March 2024, a ceremony to present Medals for Long Marital Life took place at the Wedding Palace in Bolesławiec. Four couples celebrated their wedding anniversaries: Aniela and Jan Skrabowie (their diamond anniversary, marking sixty years of marriage), as well as Krystyna and Józef Kwaśniakowie, Barbara and Tadeusz Michalczukowie, and Lubomira and Władysław Sołtysowie – their golden anniversaries.
During the ceremony, the couples were honored with diplomas and medals for long marital life, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. The distinguished celebrants were decorated by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.
