The golden age of Hollywood’s “dream factory” was an era of great films, legendary acting performances and unforgettable melodies. We will present the most wonderful and magical moments of the golden age of American cinema – from the Charleston era of the Roaring Twenties to the age of Technicolor and famous musicals. The repertoire includes songs performed by such stars as Pola Negri, Marlena Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland, including film hits such as Night and Day, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, I Wanna Be Loved by You and Moon River.
The Luna Voices vocalists – Monika Kuczera, Natalia Kiczyńska and Tamara Behler – as soloists and members of the choir of the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, have performed on many Polish and international stages, including Royal Albert Hall during BBC PROMS 2015 (London), Gewandhaus (Leipzig) and Wiener Philharmonie (Vienna), working with renowned conductors such as Paul McCreesh, Giovanni Antonini, Krzysztof Penderecki and many others.
The arrangements for The Golden Age of Hollywood are by bassist, composer and arranger Filip Torres, who performs with Jose Torres and Havana Dreams, and composer Grzech Piotrowski.
