As a Reader reports, at the intersection of Staszica and Góralska streets, the traffic signals “stopped flashing and started staying on.”

Will this solve the problem? We invite you to join the discussion.

Let us recall. In December last year, we reported that the installation of traffic signals was under way at the Staszica–Góralska intersection in Bolesławiec, one of the most collision-prone intersections in the entire City of Ceramics.

And in January 2023, we wrote about the matter as follows:

Last year, we reported what Bolesławiec County would spend its Polish Deal funds on. One of the components of this multi-million-zloty road investment is the modernization of Staszica Street.

The Staszica–Góralska intersection in Bolesławiec is one of the most collision-prone intersections in the entire City of Ceramics. According to local residents, a road incident sometimes occurs there every week.

The good news is that, as part of the aforementioned investment, the County plans to rebuild the intersection in question. What is the idea for making it safer? Traffic signals.
