As GDDKiA informs:
We have selected the most advantageous bid in the tender for expanding the transport network, reconstructing the existing bridge and building a new bridge over the Bóbr River along national road no. 94 in Bolesławiec. If there are no appeals against the decision, we plan to sign the contract with the contractor this quarter.
And it clarifies:
Twelve bids were submitted in the tender for carrying out this project. After reviewing and verifying them, the tender committee selected as the most advantageous the bid submitted by Himmel i Papesch of Opole, amounting to more than PLN 40.7 million.
The bid selected by the tender committee has the lowest price among those submitted by the interested contractors. As for the non-price criterion—the extension of the warranty period—all contractors declared the same maximum level.
More about the investment
Road authorities:
The existing bridge will be demolished due to its poor technical condition and non-standard parameters, and a new one will be built in its place. In addition, we will build a second bridge on the northern side, creating two parallel twin bridges. We will also build a section of the dual-carriageway DK94.Each of the new bridges will have a two-lane carriageway, a sidewalk and a cycle path, ensuring good connections between the two riverbanks. This solution is intended not only for motor vehicles, but also for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. At both ends of the bridge crossing, turbo roundabouts will be built, with dimensions ensuring smooth traffic flow and complete freedom to choose the direction of travel.
Reconstruction of the transport network
As part of the project, DK94 will be reconstructed along a section of nearly 530 m, and its load-bearing capacity will be increased to 11.5 tonnes per axle. A roundabout will be built at the current intersection of DK94 and Widok Street (voivodeship road no. 350), while the existing roundabout at Zgorzelecka Street will be reconstructed. The intersection of DK94 and Spacerowa Street (county road no. 2324D) and the intersection of DK94 with a municipal road (no. 104068D) will also be reconstructed. Bus bays will be moved outside the main traffic-flow zone, and a sidewalk will be added on the northern side of II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street. A stormwater drainage system, road lighting and road traffic safety elements will be built.
And they conclude:
The reconstruction of DK94, together with the construction of two bridges, will increase the capacity of the transport network and improve road traffic safety. Completion of the reconstruction is planned for 2026. The investment will be financed from the state budget.
