These were another sporting competitions held in 2024 in Gromadka Municipality. This time, an indoor football tournament, “Futsal,” was held. The competition took place in an atmosphere full of excitement, healthy rivalry and community integration.
After four hours of football competition, first place went to the undefeated OSP Różyniec team, ahead of OSP Krzyżowa and OSP Nowa Kuźnia. The next places were taken by OSP Gromadka and OSP Wierzbowa.
In accordance with the motto “Gromadka Municipality Unites Us,” employees of the Municipal Culture Centre and Library prepared delicious sour rye soup for the participants. The ladies from the Rural Housewives’ Circle in Różyniec prepared tasty cake.
Thanks go to everyone who contributed to organizing this major undertaking, headed by GOKiB director Bożena Kuchmacz and Gromadka Municipality Head Ryszard Kawka.
At the end, it was the municipality head and the invited guests in attendance—the deputy commander of the district State Fire Service Piotr Pilarczyk, municipality secretary Tomasz Matyjewicz, and former municipality head Tadeusz Gąsiorowski—who presented diplomas, medals and cups to the competition participants. Maks Mielnik of OSP Krzyżowa was the tournament’s top scorer.
