Over the weekend, we received two photos from a reader showing new streetlights on Bielska Street. Cables are coming out of the poles, running between trees or above the entrance to the school grounds, and connected to other lamps. This probably wasn’t how it was supposed to look. The reader wrote angrily: “What the f*ck is this? It’s just a complete disaster.”
It is hard not to agree with the reader. The electrical installation should be underground and secured. Meanwhile, it appears that something happened to the cables and electricity was supplied in a different way.
Other readers continue to report faults to us. In many places, the lamps still do not light up; some switch on and off or flicker very frequently.
Let us add that the company that carried out the work in Bolesławiec is facing the prospect of bankruptcy. It is therefore unclear whether the city will be able to file a complaint about the completed service. We wrote about this in the article: Lighting problems in Bolesławiec. Will the contractor file for bankruptcy?
