Earlier, we received unofficial information from readers that the building would be demolished and a new one with a new store would be built in its place. The chain itself has now confirmed and supplemented this information.

Daria Raganowicz, PR and External Communications Specialist for the Stokrotka chain:

The Stokrotka store in Bolesławiec, on Chrobrego Street, is temporarily closed. The building that previously housed the store will be demolished and replaced with a new one designed to provide customers with a nearby, convenient and attractive place to shop.

After reopening, the entire building will be occupied by Stokrotka and will have an area of approximately 820 sq m, while the sales floor inside will measure approximately 590 sq m. Twenty-eight parking spaces are planned next to the new store. The store is scheduled to begin operating in the new building in the second half of the year.

The building that housed the old Stokrotka has a history of its own. Older readers will certainly remember that it once housed the Supersam grocery store.

Until fairly recently, in addition to Stokrotka, a Media Expert store operated in a separate part of the building, followed by a store selling goods from China.
