As reported by the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways:

On Wednesday, January 24, from 12:00 to 14:00, a farmers’ strike and a procession of vehicles will take place along Lower Silesian sections of national roads No. 5, 8, 12, 15, 25, 35 and 94. As a result, traffic disruptions may occur.

It adds: – The planned strike will take the form of a gathering followed by a slow-moving procession of agricultural vehicles, traveling no faster than 5 km/h.

What will conditions be like on national roads in Lower Silesia?

  • DK5
    Possible disruptions on DK5 may occur on three sections along which the tractors will travel: between Wichrów and Osiek, between the roundabouts in Strzegom and Dobromierz, and in the area of the Kostomłoty interchange on the A4.
  • DK8
    The protesters’ route on DK8 has been planned along three sections: between Kobierzyce and Jordanów Śląski, between Przerzeczyn-Zdrój and Niemcza, and between Kłodzko and Szalejów Dolny.
  • DK12
    The protesters will travel along Kamienna Droga in Głogów to the pedestrian crossing (the section between the bridges).
  • DK15
    Possible disruptions may occur on the section from the intersection with Powstańców Wlkp. Street in Milicz to the bridge over the Barycz.
  • DK25
    The tractor procession is planned for the section from the Oleśnica Północ interchange to the intersection with the municipal road to Cieśle.
  • DK35
    The protesters will travel along the DK35 section between Siedlakowice, Mirosławice and Wojnarowice.
  • DK94
    The tractor procession is planned along three sections of DK94: from the Lipowa roundabout in Oława to the roundabout in Siechnice, between Źródła and Juszczyn, and between Okmiany and Krzywa (with possible difficulties entering the Krzywa interchange).
