Last year, our unit was dispatched to rescue operations 78 times.

This was another—the sixth year in a row—in which our unit recorded not a single failure to respond to an incident despite being dispatched.

We took part in rescue operations involving:

  • Fires – 28
  • Local hazards – 47
  • False alarms – 3.

Our crews responded to the above rescue operations as follows:

  • 409 D 17 GBA 3,1/23/5,6 – 69 times
  • 409 D 18 GBA 3/27/5,6 (forest) – 7 times
  • 409 D 19 GCBA 8/50 – 9 times
  • 409 D 20 SLRr Nissan Navara – 3 times
  • 409 D 20 SLRr Mitsubishi L200 – 9 times
  • 409 D Q20 Quad – 5 times.

They also add:

(…) On May 6, 2023, during the County Firefighters' Day celebrations held at our unit, the Bolesławiec Municipality handed over to us for use a expanded and renovated fire station together with a new medium rescue-and-firefighting vehicle. In August, the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service, in turn, handed over to us a heavy rescue-and-firefighting vehicle, previously used at the Bolesławiec State Fire Service Rescue and Firefighting Unit.
