Firefighters from Krzyżowa sum up the year:
Over the past year, our Unit went out 76 times, including:
22 times to fires, 42 times to local hazards, 8 times to false alarms, 1 service-related callout, and we also took part in exercises 3 times. As one of only a few units in the county, in 2023 we achieved 100% attendance for callouts, meaning that our crew went out to every call we received.
They add:
Five new members joined us; they completed the basic course and strengthened the Operational and Technical Unit.
They also add: – 2023 was a very good year in terms of equipping our Unit; we purchased a great deal of equipment necessary for effective rescue and firefighting operations, as well as high-quality personal protective equipment.
And they sum up:
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the development of our Unit this year and helped us obtain equipment as well as various funds and grants.
The greatest thanks go to the OSP members in Krzyżowa, who undoubtedly turn out in large numbers to alarms at any time of day or night and go out to incidents!
